I spent the last week flying all over the place checking out graduate programs I’d been accepted to. First Austin which consisted of a whole lot of drinking and eating courtesy of Dan (former manager Poleng Lounge, RIP) over at Parkside. Wine, beer, raw bar, oysters, crab cakes… you name it, we had it. Everything we had was super fresh and delicious. Austin is truly an awesome place with live music literally in every restaurant I ate in, friendly people, and the weather was perfect (300 days of sun!).
Syracuse, on the other hand, was damn cold. It even snowed lightly when I was there, making me drive slower in my Corolla. But I have to say, the Newhouse School of Public Communications is impressive, with top notch facilities and a great faculty. And its close to NYC, what more can you ask for? Maybe cheaper tuition, one can pray for miracles no? For the rest of the set go here.
