Found these shots of my little nephew’s team playing soccer. I Thought these turned out ok for shooting about half the game, and not having a super long lens. These were shot with a Canon 70-200 2.8L on my trusty Canon 40D. Soccer is pretty hard to shoot, all the action tends to be in one spot at a time, and without a real long lens, your forced to “guess” where the action will end up. Fortunately for these, the action came straight towards me, and luckily they are only 11-year-old kids who are relatively small. Imagine shooting a rugby match!
